1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using OnChange, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
2. Service Description
OnChange provides website change detection and monitoring services including: URL monitoring with configurable intervals, visual and text-based change detection, AI-powered change summaries, notification delivery, API access, and reporting tools.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: violate any website's terms of service through monitoring; use the service for illegal purposes; attempt to circumvent rate limits or plan restrictions; share API keys with unauthorized parties; or use the service to harass, stalk, or harm others. You are responsible for ensuring your monitoring activities comply with applicable laws.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. Team account administrators are responsible for managing member access and permissions.
5. Pricing & Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Dodo Payments. Prices may change with 30 days notice. Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase. Downgrading a plan takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The free tier is available indefinitely with stated limitations.
6. Service Availability
We target 99.9% uptime for paid plans. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for service interruptions due to third-party providers, force majeure, or factors beyond our control.
7. Intellectual Property
OnChange and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You retain ownership of your monitor configurations and data. We claim no intellectual property rights over monitored website content.
8. Limitation of Liability
OnChange is provided “as is.” We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including missed change detections or notification failures. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion. You may export your data before termination via our API or export features.
